2005

Foundation

Fujian GIBO Kitchen & Bath Technology Co., Ltd. was established in Fuzhou, Fujian Province. The company began research and development of infrared sensor technology for sanitaryware applications, laying the foundation for China's smart sensor sanitaryware industry.

2006

First Product Launch

Successfully developed and launched GIBO's first commercial infrared sensor faucet, marking entry into the sensor sanitaryware market. Initial products were deployed in hotel and commercial projects.

2008

Product Line Expansion

Expanded product portfolio to include sensor flush valves, soap dispensers, and automatic hand dryers. Established core R&D team focused on low-power embedded system design and infrared sensing algorithms.

2010

Market Expansion

Products began exporting to Southeast Asian and Middle Eastern markets. GIBO sensor faucets were specified in several landmark commercial projects in Singapore and Dubai.

2012

Technology Milestone

Developed proprietary low-power multi-stable sensing technology, reducing standby power consumption to less than 30µA. This breakthrough extended battery life from months to years, setting a new industry benchmark.

2014

National High-Tech Enterprise

Recognized as a National High-Tech Enterprise by the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology. Established dedicated EMC testing laboratory and sensor characterization facilities.

2016

Patent Portfolio Growth

Patent portfolio exceeded 50 granted patents. Began development of dTOF laser sensing technology for next-generation smart sanitaryware products with enhanced gesture recognition capabilities.

2018

PCT International Patents

Awarded PCT international patents for proprietary sensor nozzle technology. Expanded global IP protection and began technology licensing partnerships with international sanitaryware brands.

2019

Product Diversification

Launched smart thermostatic shower systems and IoT-enabled sanitaryware. Expanded R&D center with 50+ engineering staff covering electronics, software, mechanical, and industrial design disciplines.

2021

Smart Manufacturing Base

Expanded manufacturing facility to 30,000+ square meters with automated SMT assembly lines, CNC machining center, and precision injection molding. ISO 9001 certified production with military-grade quality control.

2022

National Standard Drafter

Participated in drafting the national standard GB/T 41863-2022 "General Technical Specification for Water-Saving Performance of Non-Contact Water Supply Devices". 100+ national patents granted.

2023

National Specialized & Sophisticated Enterprise

Recognized as a National Specialized and Sophisticated SME and Fujian Intellectual Property Advantage Enterprise. Products reached 40+ countries worldwide.

2024

Industry Standard Contribution

Drafted group standard T/XMBK 002-2024 for "Sensor Faucets". Patent portfolio exceeded 200 granted national patents. Launched third-generation dTOF laser sensing platform with millimeter-wave sensing technology.

2025

CNAS Accredited Laboratory
